Ideas? Anyone? Bueller?

So, my three readers, does anyone have some ideas about what to ask my students to do during the lab portion of their exam?

The original exam had a pick 2 of the three:

  • Photoshop - create a collage with 4 layers (background, cut-out picture, second graphic, and a text layer) and make it a vignette. Submit as a JPG (which I see as dumb since you wouldn't know if they understood layers).

  • Forms - create a form that has: name, address, city, state, zip, phone, submit, clear, a link and it would save the results to a database.

  • JavaScript - write a redirect using JavaScript that transfers the user to another page after 15 seconds.

Talk about jokes . . . I have no problems with easy stuff, but I really would like to see what my students know, not what they've memorized from examples.
