Man, the dogs are going nuts while my parents are gone. I've already had to clean up a few accidents, and Simba has figured out how to open the baby gate we used to keep the dogs from the back stairs. In fact, about 10 minutes ago, he opened it, came up the stairs, and dropped a few packages at the top of the steps. The dogs always do this when my parents leave for an extended period of time. I've been letting them out every three hours or so, yet they still have accidents. *sighs*

dogs of war planting land mines

Ok, I'm bored at work so I went to your blog thingy, disappointed that I still have yet to be mentioned, but Nick got a whole paragraph (pity-o-meter going through the roof).

Dogs always misbehave when family members leave for extended periods of time. Kalie (our black lab) will get so upset that she vomits 2 or 3 times a day if my parents leave for 3+ days. Kilo (yellow lab for anyone else who reads this) will just bark non-stop.. but that's not really any different since she never shuts up to begin with. 14 years old and she's as loud and annoying as ever. Both of our dogs will also shred anything they can get ahold of if we leave for more than 1 day. We went to my grandparent's house one weekend, when we got back Sunday late afternoon, the dogs had gotten into a trash can in my sisters room, and shredded enough paper to cover her entire floor. It was one of the most funny things I've ever seen.

You'll get a little write up if you ever do something as silly as Nick . . .
