I just spent the last hour or so writing some letters and cards, which has provided an interesting reminder of a non-digital world. One of the cards was a response to a friend who had sent a postcard, and another was in response to the idea that "social networks are boring and impersonal."
Kind of an interesting process - definitely slower and less efficient than digital communications (and a reminder of how atrocious my handwriting is). I probably won't hear responses from these specific items for at least a week. I wonder if the responses will be via digital methods, or if people will respond in kind?
Makes me think I should definitely gather some addresses before I go to visit my brother, so I can send foreign correspondence.
