Firefox 3 seems faster in general, and I like it, but I haven't switched my primary machine over to it, mainly since I've been too lazy to update it.

On the other hand, the machine I do have it on is experiencing a screen ghosting issue. It's pretty annoying, in that I can't full screen Firefox. I do have a dual display for this, one running at 1680x1050, and the other at 1050x1680. This bug seems to be related?

I've always had serious ghosting issues with putty as well. I just dropped from 32 to 16 bit color-depth, so we'll see if that helps . . . .
