On the other hand, I'm not very good at it, and I spent a good amount of time picking my self up and shaking the snow off of me, and it's still work - as in I have to think about the turns, forcing them a bit, and it doesn't flow as nice as riding on the trails. Not to mention, riding in powder (and digging myself out of it), kicked my butt. My quads were killing me, and I took a long break for lunch, thinking I'd rest up and attack it again in the afternoon, but it was just ugly. I ended up stopping and having a beer, rather than risk hurting myself.
