Okay, I'm a math geek. I'll admit, I loved teaching high school math. This new TI product looks pretty slick. Reading the wikipedia snippet, the thing screams potential. On the other hand, to really take advantage of it would require some serious thought and development. The idea of being able to manipulate an equation and see the graph/results in a split screen mode could go a long way towards teaching true understanding, as opposed to learning rote steps.

On a side note, this was an interesting story on NPR . . .
