Verizon billing wrap-up

There was a good post that referred to the Verizon billing incident I mentioned earlier. The author of the post uses this VerizonMath thing to examine why people should care about blogs. Considering that the original post went public on Thursday, it's pretty amazing that the youtube recording has close to 130k views.

It does seem that Verizon realized this wasn't going well, and realized how bad this was making them seem (it can't be a good thing when people are laughing at your company and thinking your tech support is full of idiots). I give them credit for realizing their reps had made a mistake (as honest as it may have been), and responding on a Sunday. Interesting that "Michelle" responded, rather than Nikki who had originally started the e-mail correspondence.
