So, the NY Times ran this piece on May 4th about the popularity of Crocs. For those who don't know, Crocs are these colorful sandals. The writeup in the Times talks about how Crocs are a bit different from other fashion trends, in that they started in the middle of the country, rather than on one of the coasts. Apparently, the company originally distributed to the Midwest and Colorado, before spreading nationally. Explains why the first pair I ever saw was on Cody's feet (who's originally from Colorado).
