buzzed, B&W

Late night in Helena

So, I finally got around to checking out Espresso Nirvana, a new coffee shop here in Helena. It's nice that it's open till 10 at night (which is uber-late in Helena!), but the decor is a bit too trendy for me. Lots of metallic blacks and grays in a small corner location. It's also almost all glass (it's a small corner location), and tea is $1.75, making it some of the most expensive tea in Helena. I think this place suffers from an identity crisis - on one hand it's trying to be trendy, a quick in and out place, and it even has TVs hanging up in the corners (which is very un-coffee shop-ish), but on the other it's open till 10:00 at night, which would seem to be a message to encourage people to stay? There's also some board games in the corner, which also seem to encourage people to stay. I don't get it.

I've heard it's owned by the same people who own Firetower, which would explain the wireless access.
