buzzed, B&W

Linux

So, my desktop is all fubar. I have to boot off a floppy to get into Windows, and I have no idea where my bootloader (grub) is reading it's conf files (or the kernel for that matter) from. I've edited /boot/grub/grub.conf several times (mainly just changing the title text) but it doesn't change when I boot. I've also recompiled my kernel a couple times, and switched to a new version, but it's still loading the old kernel - which I must say I have no idea where it is. I think I'm going to boot into windows, see what needs backing up, and then just format the windows driver and put gentoo on there.

I forgot to post this - since my experiment failed besides Dan . . .

intelligent, outspoken, analytical, unfocused, korean

So those are the words I'd pick . . . (yes I know it's more than three . . . )

So the reason I'm posting now is that I'm stalling . . . I'm using some Manic Panic on my hair - looking at it now, it seems much brighter than I expected . . . whoops. I also didn't listen to their 1/2" from the scalp thing so if my scalp is bright red we'll know why . . . ten more minutes . . . *sighs*
