Goals while on Crutches

So, Sarah was saying I should make it my goal to make it up Mt. Helena on crutches. I told her she was crazy, but the more I think about it, it's appealing to me. Granted, right now even the half mile to work is kind of rough, and DC kicked my butt, but the 3.5 miles or so that is Mt. Helena seems like an interesting challenge. We'll see if my hands toughen up or not - that seems to be the biggest factor, as the base of the palms (the equivalent of my heels I would say) are super sore right now.

The other thing I was thinking is that maybe I'll become a bit more ambidextrous with my feet. Using only my left leg for five weeks has to help out some, right? So, even though I won't be playing soccer this spring as I'll still be building strength and flexibility back up, maybe in the long run this will be a good thing . . .
