This isn't fun
buzzed, B&W
So, I just hobbled on home and gained a new appreciation for many things. First off, the half-mile that I live from work seems much, much longer when you're on crutches. Hopping along on crutches wasn't doing much for my shin-splints either. It took a good 30 minutes to get home (though admittedly, 10 of that was spent talking to Sarah on the phone). And who would have thought you could break into an all out sweat in half a mile? Crazy.

On the positive side, I'll get a decent cardio workout going to and from work, and my left calf will get a solid workout. I don't think it's hard enough on my upper body to build any strength there . . .

On the flip side, I'm not going to get anywhere near the physical activity I tend to average, so I'll probably get nice and fat. Yea!
