The wonders of small town life . . .
buzzed, B&W
So, I was recently reminded of one of the big advantages of living in a small town, and that's the fact that it's much easier to network.

Brett got in touch with me about organizing a screening for WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price. I originally offered up the guys house, as they've got a big screen, but it wouldn't really allow for that many people to see it. After talking with Brett, and realizing he wanted to go bigger, I reached out to my network. I was thinking that showing the movie on campus would be the way to go, which led me to think of Chris, president of the College Democrats. I didn't have his contact, but going through Matt, led me to Chris, which has lead to a showing of the movie Thursday night . . .

Interestingly enough, a quick look online shows that another group has organized a Helena showing as well. (And it happens to be at the second location I was pursuing . . . )
