HEAVY SNOWS CAUSE HIGHWAY
CLOSURES IN EASTERN MONTANA
An early winter storm has caused two highways in the eastern part of Montana to be closed indefinitely. Interstate 94 east is closed at Glendive to the North Dakota state line. US Highway 12 from Miles City to the North Dakota state line is also closed.
Montana Department of Transportation maintenance crews have been plowing snow since 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, but continued snowfall, plus blowing and drifting snow are causing adverse travel conditions.
